Reporting to the Customer Quality Engineering Manager, you will have direct responsibility for all customer quality concerns and be a key player in establishing and maintaining customer relationships on key accounts. As the champion of investigations, you will be the 'voice of the customer' and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve customer quality issues, ensuring timely implementation of interim and permanent corrective actions to meet our customers' requirements.
You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing team as a technical advisor for negotiations and fulfilment of terms and conditions of warranty contracts.
Along with the many training and development opportunities available with our Client, successful candidates who have no six sigma qualifications will be trained to Green Belt level. You will be expected to use these six sigma skills to lead projects with the aim of improving product quality through the process of continuous improvement.
You must be a team player, have excellent communication skills, and a 'can do' attitude to resolve any customer quality issue.
This will be a full time permanent role based in Antrim.
Essential Criteria
• Degree in engineering
• Minimum of two years' experience in a product development/manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria
• Experience in quality tools such as 8D, FMEA etc.
• Electronics experience.
Additional
• The role will involve occasional foreign travel.
