EXPORT SALES ASSISTANT

Location: Greater Manchester (Rochdale)

Minky is the Market Leading laundry and cleaning products brand supplying most of the major UK retailers. We supply a wide range of branded and also private label products to a principally blue chip customer base. 

An Export Sales Assistant, ideally fluent in French or German is required to help grow our international sales presence. This role is based in our Greater Manchester Head Office, but there may also be the opportunity to travel to different locations in Europe and the USA. 

Key Tasks

• Provide support to the Export Team to drive International Sales and profitability
• Liaise with existing international customers and following up on all new customer leads.
• Create product presentations
• Work closely with UK Product Managers, Design Team and Supply Department to ensure export product opportunities are optimised.
• Process international orders
• Make travel arrangement book appointments with customers for the international team. 

Ideal Candidate  

• Educated to degree level
• Skilled linguist, ideally in French or German
• Experience working with online and retail customers
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Ambitious, driven and target orientated
• Strong work ethic
• Strong relationship builder
• Organised • Commercially astute
• Polished and credible
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint...)
