Production Operator

Production Operators are vital to supporting continued growth in a business. We have some great opportunities for Production Operators to join our client on a permanent basis at their growing Precision Optics facility in Fife to carry out precise and meticulous manufacturing tasks.

We are looking for candidates to have:

* Previous experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment

* Previous experience of working in a high precision production department

* Basic knowledge of IT systems, good math skills and a basic mechanical aptitude

* Attention to detail, organisational and communication skills

* Experience of lean manufacturing desirable

Personal Attributes

* Enthusiastic, driven and self-motivated with the ability to perform hands on engineering tasks

* An understanding of interpreting engineering drawings combined with knowledge of metrology instruments is desired

* Good manual dexterity and the ability to work to precise engineering tolerances

* Flexible to work shifts to meet business demands
