Workshop Controller - GBP30k - GBP35k

Are you an experienced Workshop Controller who understands the demands of a high-volume car body repair centre and have the ability to meet the high standards that this position brings?

We have a fantastic opportunity where we are looking to hire an experienced Workshop Controller that is willing to go that extra mile and join our Witham site, close to the A12 between Chelmsford and Colchester.

The ideal experienced Workshop Controller will have experience on running a Workshop with a large team of Technicians, be able to motivate themselves and their teams in the busiest and high-pressured environments and be driven to succeed in all aspects of the job.

PURPOSE OF JOB

• Delivering outstanding customer service.
• Quality control

• Control of the day-to-day workshop operations
• Work closely with the workshop Manager and Office Manager estimators, parts department and reception to ensure work progresses efficiently through the workshop
• Control of the day-to-day workshop operations
• Distribution of work to operators.
• Resolution of minor disputes with operators.
• Technical assistance.

As Experienced Workshop Controller you will be expected to work 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

• To have experience in the Body repair of motor vehicles.
• Experience working as a Workshop or Bodyshop Controller / Manager / Supervisor.
• Full driving licence that enables you to do vehicle road tests.
