LOCATION: Hove, East Sussex
JOB TITLE: Financial Controller
SALARY & BENEFITS: Remuneration will be competitive
WORKING HOURS: Full Time
THE COMPANY: Our client covers the city of Brighton & Hove, the counties of East and
West Sussex, and Surrey outside the London boroughs. They have 85 parishes and 65 schools serving the Catholic community. Our client is a substantial charity with approximately 300 employees (excluding clergy). They have an exciting opportunity available for a Financial Controller to join their team.
Key Responsibilities/duties of a Financial Controller to include :-
You will line manage three staff
Ensure day to day smooth running of the Finance Office
Preparation of the statutory accounts
Monitoring budgetary controls; banking and investments and payroll
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Financial Controller must have excellent communication and organisational skills with a high level of numeracy and ability in IT applications. A calm, efficient approach to a demanding workload is essential. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Hove.
Key experience essential for the role of Financial Controller :-
Qualified accountant with at least four years' post qualified experience
