We're looking for a Maintenance Gardner Team Leader to look after a group of Gardeners servicing our beautiful gardens around the Central London and Surrey areas.
Based in the Teddington Area we Design and Manage Gardens across London and Surrey for a wide range of clients and varying sizes. We start at initial concept stage carry out construction and then maintain the gardens all year round.

As Team Leader for your Maintenance Gardeners you key role is to oversee two other team members where it is key to delegate tasks to ensure the best use of time and efficiency while on site. Working closely with both designers and clients you will be the regular face of our company so we want you to be confident and a good team player offering excellent direction and guidance to your team.
Key duties include......
- Communicating with your manager, additional works and providing feedback on gardens.
- Liaising with clients and suppliers.
- Regular re-planting of window displays and borders.
- Lawn care.
- Plant feeding, staking and weeding of herbaceous borders.
- Hedge cutting - by hand and machine.
- General watering and management of irrigation systems
- Spraying, i. pest control, feeding and stone cleaning.
- Management of garden water features
- Managing planting and soft landscaping schemes.
- Implementing company Health and Safety documentation.
For this exciting position we ideally want somebody who has lead a team in a similar environment and has a good background of working to the high standards that we keep.
Essential requirements include......
- Relevant qualification in Gardening or Horticulture.
- Amazing comprehensive plant knowledge.
- Experience with mowers, hedge trimmers and power washers.
- Irrigation systems.
- A full clean driving license.
