Oracle ERP Analyst / SQL Developer

Contract Type: Temporary 3-6 months project role

Salary rate: up to £35 per hour self-billing (£26.50 PAYE)

Job Elements

·To support the Oracle to SAP Project through the development of Oracle 8 database extracts in conjunction with general Oracle 10.7 ERP legacy support.

·Develop Oracle 8 database extract programs using SQL/PLSQL. Database is a structured Oracle 10.7 ERP system.

·Adopt and adhere to strict version control protocols.

·Schedule and host peer-review ‘walkthroughs’ for developed code.

·Own and drive to resolution issues that arise in legacy Oracle 10.7 ERP system.

·Generation of documentation associated with the full Software Development Life Cycle (supported and guided by senior staff).

·The delivery of project outputs in accordance with defined requirements, specification and project schedule.

The ideal candidate will have:

·Business Information Technology, Programming, Computing,

·Oracle SQL/PLSQL development

·Experience within the Oracle ERP suite preferably version 10.7

·System Development Life Cycle, Oracle SQL, Database technologies.

·Innovator. Ability to work unsupervised with strong troubleshooting ability.

·Experience of using SAP or being involved with an SAP project.

·Experience of a large data migration from legacy Oracle ERP platform.
