Cringle Brook Primary wishes to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and talented teaching assistant to work in and out of class to support an individual pupil with a range of SEND. This is a temporary contract for as long as the named pupil remains in school.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a school setting with pupils with Special Educational Needs.  They will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual.  They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Strong literacy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process.

A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential.

Level 1, Grade 2 £16,626 pro rata, 30.5 hours per week, term time only equates to apx £12,420 per annum

Hours of work will be 8.45am to 3.30pm with 40 minutes lunchbreak.

This position is subject to 2 professional references and DBS clearance.

First stage assessment date: 8 June

Second stage assessment date 11 June

Employment start date: 1st September 2018
