Reach, Counterbalance & PPT Drivers required
AS&T are recruiting experienced Fork Truck Drivers to work at our new client based at S9 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have previous work experience on both trucks and be willing to assist with other Warehouse duties as and when required.
The contract being offered is 13 weeks Temporary, then leading to a Permanent placement for the candidate who has shown an excellent work ethic, has been punctual throughout probation and has worked well with other team mates
Requirements:
•Nationally accredited & refreshed within 3 years Reach & Counterbalance Licence
•Minimum two year's recent experience using both trucks
• Recent working references essential
• Experience on PPT beneficial but not essential
• Order Picking & Packing experience
• Fit and able to perform standard Warehouse duties, lifting goods by hand etc
Duties:
• Day-to-day Warehousing duties, Order picking, stock rotation, packing (when required)
• To use picking notes for the procurement of stock
• To operate the forklift trucks, both Reach & Counterbalance, in a safe
manner
• Operating an Electric Pallet Truck in a safe manner
• Performing day-to-day safety checks of the fork lift truck prior to use
• Goods in, out & Stock control
• Loading of stock on to HGV'S
• Ensure the work & floor space is tidy and clear of obstructions at all
times
• Uphold Health & Safety procedures at all times whilst operating Fork
Truck
• To work efficiently and effectively under own initiative
Remuneration package:
Salary GBP7.93 per hour
Hours 11.00am - 20.00pm Monday to Friday
Contract 13 weeks Temporary to Permanent
