Building Careers are working exclusively with Blackpool Coastal Housing as they look to appoint a Contracts Manager to deliver planned and capital improvement programme works.
Job Title: Contracts Manager
Reports to: Head of Operations & Customer Contact
Purpose
Whether undertaking a repair for one of our valued customers, getting a home ready for a new tenant or carrying out a major refurbishment project on behalf of one of our trusted partners we deliver a service that is a delight for our customers to receive. We pride ourselves on providing extraordinary customer service and our inspirational people have an attitude and approach that is second to none when it comes to meeting customer needs. Our unique service blends excellent customer focus and a commercial approach offering quality repair and refurbishment projects competitively priced.
The Role
Supporting the Head of Service you will be responsible for delivering contract repairs and major refurbishment/ building projects in a timely and cost effective way that meet the needs of our clients.
The successful applicant will be involved in tendering for new contracts as well as working with the Head of Service in developing an ongoing business plan and trading account. You will Provide management supervision, leadership and guidance to motivate staff to deliver the highest quality service and performance targets.
Maintaining the quality of service delivery, through monitoring; the post holder will also implement minor improvements to the service to ensure continuous improvement is maintained. This will include evidencing specific changes and where appropriate present an appraisal of the benefits or financial expenditure required. To fully utilise the IT systems used within the business.
What we are looking for
Blackpool Coastal Housing are looking for applicants with experience of delivering planned and capital improvement contracts within time and to budget. You will have a strong knowledge of delivering a contacts and maintenance services within a construction related environment.
As well as this also a proven track record and ability to lead the team and work within a team, to create a good working environment to ensure staff are more effective and responsive to change.

33k - 35k Annual Salary
