Job Title: Production Controller
Shift Pattern: Days only, Monday to Friday
Salary: up to GBP25k per annum DOE
Location: Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Controller to join a successful Manufacturer within the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. The culture of the business is very forward thinking and professional as the Production Controller you will be responsible for planning schedules and be responsible for compliance and quality.
Duties and Responsibilities
* As the Production Controller, you will be providing support to the Production Management
* Supporting the management of production schedules
* Assisting supervisory staff with production dynamics
* As the Production Controller, you will be ensuring production is compliant to established quality system
* Ensuring production records are maintained as defined by quality standards and specifications
* As the Production Controller, you will be assisting with management of production staff training
This role would suitable for individuals who are:
* Previous experience working in a production environment
* Previous experience of quality/compliance/regulations
* Previous experience working within production planning/material control or a similar role
* Previous experience with Precious Metals, Bullion or Jewellery trade
* Ability to lead projects
* Good communication skills - verbal and written
* Leadership skills
* Ability to prioritise work
* Ability to multitask
* Problem solving skills
* Ability to disseminate information clearly and efficiently
This role would suit people who also have the following experience: Production Planner, Materials Planner, Production Coordinator, Material Coordinator, and Production Scheduler
