We are currently recruiting for a Landscaping Team Leader with experience of soft landscaping on new build sites for a leading Landscaping Company who are expanding the team that covers the Northants area.
As the Landscaping Team Leader you will be leading and working within a team that is responsible for preparing for and installing landscaping on new build sites, you will need to have :
• Planning your teams workload ensuring that the correct materials, plant and tools are there for when the job starts.
• Ensuring that work is completed to the highest standard and in line with instructions and specifications.
• Being confident in your ability to provide solutions to both design and site challenges whilst remaining within budget.
• Having the highest quality standards to ensure the long term success of installed installations.
• Having ultimate responsibility for the Health and Safety of your team.
• Experience of preparing and levelling the ground.
• Experience of laying lawns for domestic and commercial projects with the attention to detail required to ensure a high quality finish.
• A good knowledge of tree and plant choices and best fit for design, location and soil.
• Experience of soft landscaping including tree planting.
• Attention to detail to ensure the long term success of the installed landscaping.
• Ensuring that daily maintenance of vehicles, plant and tools is carried out to Company Policy.
• Ensuring your team adheres to site rules and are correctly dressed.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have a Driving Licence and experience of leading a landscape installation team.Ideally you will also have a valid CSCS Card - if you have a trailer licence and related qualifications that would be welcomed too.
On offer is a basic salary of between GBP22,000 and GBP26,000.
This is a permanent position working a 42.5 hour week with the opportunity for regular overtime, comes with four weeks holiday, sick pay and a pension scheme as well as career progression opportunities as our Client works across the UK and is constantly expanding the teams due to new business gains in the local area.
