Our client is a world-leading agency providing the most comprehensive range of information across the globe. This information is supplied to security and defence. They have a very exciting opportunity and are looking for a Technology Recruitment Lead and Business Partner Support to join their team in Taunton on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Main purpose of role:

To devise and implement a resourcing strategy for all Technology roles. Success will be measured through successful achievement of the SLAs and KPIs for their Tech recruitment.

This role will act as subject matter expert in assisting all parts of the business in the recruitment of digital professions such as the implementation of and recruitment of digital apprenticeships in operations roles.

To offer Business Partner support in all aspects of supporting Technology management.

The post holder will have excellent organisational and planning skills, be computer literate and have a good knowledge of HR issues and employment law.

Tasks, expectations/deliverables:

?? Responsible for the recruitment of all technology roles

?? Responsible for the management and development of the Technology talent pipeline. This includes working with and through agencies, direct recruitment, social media activity, direct advertising and creating a market place presence. You will be required to apply of all the latest recruitment methods and to leverage these to maintain the talent pipeline whilst maintaining auditable records and compliance. Prepare resourcing statistics purposes

?? Manage the talent pipeline for tech through engagement with partner universities colleges and schools that specialist in graduates. This requires regular and close liaison to facilitate joint working with specialist managers within tech to foster positive relationships. Success will be measured through fulfilment of apprenticeship, trainee and internship roles.

?? Support the Business Partner with all tech employee relations issues and ad hoc projects. This will include involvement in all ER issues offering advice and guidance to managers across Tech to ensure all policies are supported. This will include the management of individual case work including discipline, grievance etc. Support and administer Tech payroll input. Ensure all staff records and HR Database (SAP HR) is updating in a timely and accurate manner. This includes staff change notices for staff moves and changes, substantive and temporary promotions, new entrant details and SAP post management.

?? Manage their Technology apprenticeship scheme. Evaluate, research, establish and run a trailblazer tech apprenticeship

?? Management of all careers fairs, internal apprenticeship schemes.

?? Manage the recruitment of Contractors and Temps. Liaise with temporary, contractor and employment agencies in relation of the provision of temporary and contractor recruitment and staff to meet business needs. This includes ensuring standards are maintained; IR35 Tax assurance audits are completed as required; checking/agreeing rates as appropriate and managing extensions/cessations to contracts and placements.

?? Act as HR Chair on sift and interview panels, as appropriate, for campaigns across all areas of the organisation to ensure good practise and equality/diversity guidelines are followed and the key principles of selection by merit and fair and open competition are maintained

Specific Technical/Functional Skills and Experience

?? Has devised and implemented resourcing strategies in a fast-moving environment. Has significant practical recruitment experience.
?? Has knowledge and experience of managing employee relations issues, HR transactional activity and Policy Interpretation.
?? Has a good understanding of, or can access, relevant current employment.

Desirable:
?? Experience of Civil Service Recruitment
?? CIPD Qualified
?? Knows employee relations issues and risks and knows how to engage and coach managers.
