Surveyor (6 month FTC) - tRIIO

Our gas engineering team are recruiting for experienced Surveyors to join our team in Sheffield on 6 month FTC. You will be responsible for assisting in the creation of an annual and weekly programme of projects through on site surveys to establish all aspects of Highway Authority conditions and permissions, all aspects of customer management, all on site safety and environmental risks, all temporary works associated with the work, and providing inputs into the CDM Health and Safety file and Team File for each project (Mains Replacement, Diversions, Reinforcement, Governor installation, MOB).

We're looking for:

• Experience in Utility Contracting
• Commercially aware with planning and building control experience.
• Knowledge of general safety, tRIIO Procedures, Legislation and Practice
• Good understanding of general site safety and environmental policy
• Experience of liaising and influencing Highway Authorities and other external stakeholders
• Experience of Permit Schemes / NRWSA Noticing schemes
• Experience of compiling pre construction information for the purposes of CDM
• Utility Gas Safety Passport
• Full UK Driving Licence
• IOSH (desirable)
• NRSWA (desirable)
