We have an excellent opportunity available in Chelmsford for someone who is looking to move into Office based work, or further extend their experience in this field. The role is based in the ever-growing Automotive Industry and is working for one of the most recognised and reputable names in the business, proven with multiple accolades including 'Best Employer'. They are looking for a new Customer Service Advisor to join their team in a purpose built Business Development Centre, just above their immaculate showroom.

As a Customer Service Advisor, it would be your responsibility to handle Inbound Calls, or make Outbound Calls to respond to enquiries that come via different channels. Each call you conduct would need to deliver the highest level of Customer Service to ensure business is retained and their reputation is upheld. The primary focus of the call is to assist the customer with a 1st Class Service, however you will also be tasked with up-selling if applicable and correctly advising of services and products to try and secure appointments. The most effective way to do this is by building a rapport with the client, assessing their needs and them recommending suitable services or products which fit the need. Training is provided to ensure you are confident on all products and services as well as showing you some techniques to ensure your success. Commission is available in this role as will be achieved through team activity which involves securing booking and also on individual traits such as quality of calls and up-selling.

As mentioned above, the company is very reputable and this role is a great stepping stone into more office based roles, which the company could progress you to internally! For this reason, our client is flexible with previous experience and they can look at candidates from a retail background as long as the role included some telephone based duties such as talking to customers about orders or making contact with different departments. You will also need to be computer literate and confident with Word and Excel, as well as the ability to pick up new systems quickly.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, however 1 in every 3 weeks you will be asked to work 10am to 7pm on a Thursday. You will also be required to work every other Saturday from 8:30am to 5pm. In return, you will receive a basic salary of £14,500 to £15,600 which will increase after probation, with realistic OTE's of £21,500. You will also receive a variety of other benefits including 23 days additional Holiday a year, Bank Holidays off, Pension Scheme and other benefits which are rewarded annually for length of service.
