Due to ongoing growth, we are now looking for a UK National Account Manager to join our team in Birmingham.

Your Role: 

As a UK National Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating business with major retailers with specific focus on the Big Four grocery chains. 

You’ll take part in the entire new business process from prospect onwards, managing your team to ensure that sales plans and strategies are successful and individuals are developed to achieve their potential. 

Working on vendor programmes and projects to win business, you will manage the P&L and will personally contribute to profitability. 

About You: 

To be considered as a UK National Account Manager, you will need: 

- Experience of opening new business channels and/or retailers or optimising under-performing business 
- An excellent understanding of the UK grocery environment in non-food (General Merchandise) ideally with one of the Big Four 
- Demonstrable success leading and managing a highly successful team 
- Strong business and strategic planning and subsequent implementation abilities
