The Role: 

As a Gardener, you’ll ensure that a section of Paignton Zoo’s gardens is maintained to the highest standards. 

Reporting to the Curator of Plants & Gardens and Head Gardener, you will: 

- Work on our Botanic Garden collections and horticultural displays
- Carry out work in-line with health and safety guidelines 
- Occasionally supervise volunteers and student gardeners
- Liaise with other departments to support the effective management of the zoo

About You: 

To be considered, you’ll need: 

- At least two years’ gardening experience 
- An NVQ Level 2 qualification or above 
- A positive attitude and passion for plants 
- Strong communication skills 
- A great eye for detail
