Our Funeral Service Operatives are based at our workshops and garages in Tiverton, but serve the company across all of its premises in Cullompton, Exeter and Tiverton.
Basic hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 30 minutes for lunch.
Full salary is £20,700.00 (although new recruits usually start on a slightly lower level and work up to full salary over an agreed period).
All out of hours work is paid on top of full salary.
A pension is also provided.
Holiday is 20 days per year, plus bank holidays.
On-call starts on a Friday at 5:00 p.m. and finishes on a Thursday at 8:00 a.m., requires 13 weeks per year and is based around two phases:-
- Phase one - Week on, week off, week on, six weeks off, then
- Phase two - Week on, week off, week on, four weeks off, then
- Repeat phase one
- Repeat phase two
All uniforms, shirts, shoes etc are paid for by the company. Dry cleaning is paid for by the company.
A mobile phone is provided and paid for by the company.
All training is also paid for by the company.
