Our client is a busy manufacturing company who are looking for an experienced Stores & Logistics manager to join their management team.
This role will involve the coordinating the stores and warehouse operation dealing with parts and spares for the production area and spare parts for engineers and customers.
Key areas of responsibility
* Warehouse Management including raw materials
*Stock location
*Maintenance of information systems
*Stock control
* Supply of materials
* Receipt of orders on internal SAP system and customer portal
* Management of Warehouse and Stores Team
Experience
* Experience working in and Engineering or Manufacturing environment
* Stores and Stock control systems
* Logistics processes
* Strong people management and staff motivation experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong IT and administration skills
* Good organisational and planning skills
* Experience working with other internal managers and departments
* Customer focused.
Qualifications:
Ideally you will have a qulification in Logistics i.e. Diploma or Certificate in Logistics Management or Logistics & Supply Chain
This role offers a flat day shift Monday to Friday
