The Supply Chain Planner Opportunity:
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will possess excellent analytical skills, be highly numerical and possess an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You will play a vital role within the business collaborating closely with a number of functions such as Production, Logistics, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Purchasing in order to optimise production capabilities and sales opportunities.
You will be tasked with creating daily production schedules, building forecasting models, productivity KPIs, inventory reports and trend analysis. Your organisation and communication skills will mean you will be involved in all areas of the business, providing analysis and insights aimed at improving business performance.
This is an ideal role for an exceptional graduate in a fast paced, dynamic online business.
Key Accountabilities & Skills:
+ Create daily production schedule and ensure raw ingredients and packaging materials are available to execute that plan
+ Maintain and improve short & medium term forecast models at SKU level based on demand
+ Participation in weekly meetings to co-ordinate the requirements of each sale's channels
+ Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing teams on promotion planning activities
+ Create trend analysis to help the business seize market opportunities
+ Undertake monthly stock counts and produce business reports and analysis
+ Creation of production schedules designed to optimise production capabilities
+ Support various teams with production of overall forecast, ensuring all forecasts are robust and as accurate as possible
+ An excellent team player with first class communication, negotiation and analytical skills
+ Previous experience of working across multiple functions a distinct advantage
+ Good understanding of MRP and inventory management systems
You may have worked in the following capacities:
Graduate Inventory Assistant, Inventory Coordinator, Junior Stock and Inventory Planner, Inventory Analyst, Inventory & Stock Planner, Stock Controller, Supply Chain Graduate, Supply Chain Planner Assistant, Supply Chain Planning Assistant.
