A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a food manufacturing business. We are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to work within a market leading FMCG environment. The engineer will be working as part of an established management team, with the chance to progress throughout the company. The role will offer the engineer a high level of autonomy and technical challenges. 

As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

+ Mentoring the Engineering apprentice
+ Maintain production equipment within the factory to ensure all the equipment is in the best condition for use
+ Undertake reactive maintenance within the business and effectively prioritise work to conduct proactive maintenance
+ Support the engineering team to ensure cost effective methods of introduction to new manufacturing equipment
+ Managing capital expenditure and budget
+ Surveying production lines

Key Skills:

+ Hands on and strategic thinker
+ Time served or Engineering qualification
+ Confidence working on both electrical and mechanical faults
+ Ability to contribute at senior management level
+ Strong leadership skills, able to drive change and process improvements
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Ability to guide and mentor staff
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Computer literate including word and excel
+ CI / Lean attitude

You may have worked in the following capacities:
Electro - Mechanical Engineer, Electrical / PLC Engineer, Mechanical / Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Plant Engineer, Site Engineer, FMCG Manufacturing Engineer, Automotive Manufacturing Engineer, FMCG Manufacturing Automation Engineer, Hydraulic / Pneumatic Engineer.
