Corr Recruitment is currently looking for a HR Advisor for company based in Tamworth
for an immediate start.

Initial 3-6 months contract, Monday to Friday, usual office hours.

The ideal candidate must have previous HR experience.

Role specific:

* To provide a professional service to employees, external bodies/ organisations, ensuring that all queries are dealt with effectively
* To ensure departmental Managers interpret and comply with Company policies, procedures and legislation and provide coaching where necessary.
* To assist in delivering a best practice approach to HR services (resourcing/recruitment, absence management, performance management, talent management/succession, organisational design)
* To complete monthly payroll for Management
* To act as first line support for all personnel queries, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance and appeals.
* To plan and arrange any training for colleagues/Managers in line with compliance and business needs.
* To prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports for the Site Management Team and Head Office.

Commercial

* To aid towards the commercial performance HR team
* To assist in assessing and managing the commercial implications of HR plans, actions and issues arising on the operation, the Client and the Company

Client

* To assist in ensuring contractual requirements in relation to HR activities are met, and exceeded where possible
* To actively establish and maintain positive relations with Client representatives
* To participate in Client network reviews, communications forums/processes

People

* To assist in driving a positive employee relations climate and the site's communication strategy ensuring communications are consistent and appropriate
* To manage through others by encouraging development opportunities, setting targets, objectively measuring performance providing regular reviews, feedback and coaching as required to develop a successful "can do" culture
