Our client is now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team, working at the forefront of the bank, acquiring new business and developing relationships contributing to the bank’s strategy of growing quality customers.

As a Business Development Manager you will develop new relationships for sustainable growth and profitability, designing and implementing lead generation; driving customer acquisition and lending growth and supporting new business tenders and bespoke growth opportunities. Staying abreast of market trends, demand curves and other influencing preferences, marketing and proposition designs, you will produce and deliver reports for regular trading meeting, reporting on business growth through client acquisitions and lending, suggesting recommendations as required. You will maintain existing channels supporting new business propositions and the development of new channels, will follow up on client leads and will deliver fair outcomes for all customers.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a similar Business Development role with proven ability in sales, channel development and optimisation, with current product/market knowledge. Experience of working within a supervisory sales role would be advantageous. Strong knowledge of the financial conduct lifecycle and conduct risk is essential as is experience in customer acquisition strategy development and pricing development and management.
