Ecommerce Administrator
Are you an experienced E-commerce expert looking for a role in a modern, expanding small business? Are you bored of commuting into London and would like a role closer to home?
An exciting opportunity to join and award-winning business in Romford, Essex celebrating over 10 of ecommerce.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in the ecommerce industry who can bring further knowledge to product marketing, reporting on sales trends and looking into the technical needs of the business.
Role Summary
- Oversee and implement new strategies for the website (products, content, promotions)
- Review and report on website, ebay and amazon analytics to ensure continued performance
- Plan, define and implement website and operational changes
- Monitor key performance indicators on the website and develop plans to improve them.
What you'll be doing
- Setting up great standards for our website to ensure we are producing high-quality product listings that are accurate, searchable and correctly categorised across all ecommerce platforms (eBay, Amazon and our own websites).
- Support and invent new operations for all channels for Ecommerce, Website, Amazon, eBay and other integrations. Keep up-to-date with new marketplace initiatives to help grow the business.
- Work closely with other departments within the Ecommerce team and 3rd parties.
- Reporting any issues via ticket systems for websites and warehouse software. Support the customer service and warehouse team on minor every day IT issues (hardware/software)
- Train team on new integrations and create guides for in house staff
- Numerate and well versed in Excel skills to manipulate data for integrations and generate reports
Key Skills and Experience required for the role: -
- To have at least two years’ experience working within ecommerce using a CMS such as Visualsoft and Peoplevox would be a plus
- Experience of Amazon Seller Central and eBay Shops
- Highly organised individual with problem-solving skills that is self-motivated with a creative mind and a drive to get stuff done
- Excellent written and spoken business English & presentation skills
- Good knowledge of Windows 10 & 7 for support on issues
- Advanced IT skills and a practical knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.)
- Good understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics
