JOB TITLE: Gardener
LOCATION: Bicester, Oxfordshire
REFERENCE: NMC
SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary depending on experience
WORKING HOURS: Full Time position - Hours of work will vary due to the time of year, however; the main hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday 08:00 - 16:00 for the majority of the year.
THE ROLE: A wonderful opportunity has arisen to become part of a team of 9 gardeners on a large private estate nestled in beautiful Oxfordshire. The 54 acre garden is currently being redesigned by celebrated garden designer Tom Stuart-Smith.
Key Responsibilities of the Gardener to include:-
• Garden maintenance
• Strimming and mowing
• Weeding and edging
• Planting and watering
Please note this list of duties is not exhaustive and you maybe ask to carry out any additional reasonable duties as required by the Head Gardener.
THE CANDIDATE: You will have had at least 2 years' experience in horticulture and must be fully conversant in all aspects of garden machinery. The garden is very large and the standards maintained are to the highest levels therefore you must be flexible, an excellent time keeper, passionate and able to take direction from the head gardener and assistant head gardener.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with excellent working conditions and a generous remuneration package.

• Will live within a commutable distance of Bicester, Oxfordshire
• Must have previous experience working in a similar role or environment
• Will have excellent communications skills and be a team player
