Our client has six colleges, two training providers and around 2,500 staff spread across 61 locations, which also makes them one of the largest not for profit training groups in the UK.

They work with thousands of learners, employers and apprentices each year, collaborating with businesses across the UK to help underpin their journey to success and future growth.

One of their training providers is now looking for someone to implement the delivery of their strategy and operational plans throughout Scotland.

This is a key operational role in which the post holder will have full accountability for ensuring the delivery of contracts across Scotland including Fair Start, Employability Fund and Modern Apprenticeships. In the role you will ensure the achievement of Key Performance Indicators and Key Delivery Indicators as well as the highest quality of service provision to ensure our performance meets all contractual requirements.

Contributing to and delivering the strategic plans and the annual business plan for Scotland, you will monitor and evaluate the performance of the delivery teams against target and provide budgetary control and financial management; setting appropriate and clearly defined targets linked to volume of participants; quality of provision; budget and achievement levels. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including Scottish Government, Local Authorities, funding bodies, business development partners, Lead Providers and Supply Chain Partners.

With experience in managing resources to achieve the operational delivery of contracts and strategy within the skills, training and employability sectors, you will have a proven track record of achieving volume and/or quality targets. Vast experience of managing high volume output payment contracts, and familiar with establishing good working relationships with external agencies and ensuring effective contract compliance, you will have strong communication skills, be able to analyse data to determine trends and make accurate forecasts and the ability to work effectively as a member of a leadership team.

Ideally you will hold a Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in Leadership and Management however this is not essential.
