We are working on behalf of our client who are a leading offshore and renewable energy business in the Northeast in the search for a Technical Project Coordinator

Job brief

We are looking for a conscientious Project Coordinator who will be centrally positioned operationally to organise and administrate all project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of Management, aiming for a timely safe and efficient execution of all projects.

Responsibilities

??Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives

??Coordinating project related activities, resources, personnel, equipment and information to meet project requirements

??Communicating and reporting client's needs and requirements throughout the project lifecycle ensure compliance is achieved and progress monitored throughout.

??Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule and work within budget

??Monitor and track project's progress and handle any issues that arise

??Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants and measure performance.

??Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and expenditure

??Supply and retain all appropriate statutory and regulatory information

??Report and escalate to management & other stakeholders as needed.

??Coordinate Project's team & supervision.

??Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

Requirements

??Previous experience in project environment in possibly manufacturing/offshore/engineering related field.

??Good communication, planning & coordination abilities.

??Leadership & coordination to various stakeholders such as project coordinator technical & supervisors.

??Previous experience in cooperating with Management for the delivery of projects

??Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

??Excellent written and verbal communication skills

??Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

??Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and other project management tools

??BS/BA in a related field is an advantage.

??Expected to support out of normal workings requirements to support deliver project targets/timescale.

The salary is negotiable depending upon experience

This is a permanent full time position
