We are currently looking for an experienced administrator that is data protection savvy to work in our very busy NHS clients office based in Ashford

The key objective of the role are to deliver an effective and competent level of administrative support and consistently deliver a "client-focused" service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships. Your job role will involve, but is not limited to the below:

  • Provision of overarching administrative support to the CHC/MDT Team, including electronic filing; scanning and distribution of post
  • Answer telephone calls, taking accurate and relevant messages, ensuring that these are passed to colleagues for response in a timely manner
  • Act as first point of contact for the team, dealing with routine enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to stakeholders or referring / sign-posting to managers or colleagues where appropriate.
  • Provision of direct administrative support, to the CHC Service Manager.
  • Provision of administrative duties, supporting the locality CHC Officers in ensuring that eligibility decisions are processed and recorded, in line with the NHS National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded Nursing Care.
  • Process eligibility documents, letters, emails, minutes and reports when required.
  • Input / data entry to Broadcare (computerised database), in a timely mannerInput, monitor and print reports from computerised systems, when required
  • Assist with the collation of data as required, in line with the requirements of the team
  • When necessary, attend meetings, take minutes for transcription and distribute as required.
  • Raise requisitions for purchases, on behalf of the team, using Oracle.
  • Provide cover for other team members, during periods of absence, when requested to do so.
  • To support the CHC/MDT Team, by ensuring that there is adequate office cover at all times.
  • Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised, within defined policies and procedures to set timescales.
  • Have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work in order to meet various deadlines.
  • Demonstrate office systems and department requirements to new starters
  • To carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required.
  • It is the responsibly of the post holder to ensure that they have undertaken all mandatory training, in-line with CSU policy and procedures.
