THE JOB
Capable and qualified wiring technician is required to work on bespoke lighting products in all their many and various forms. You will be an important part of the workflow through the factory, so you will need to work to deadlines and co-ordinate your work with other individuals and teams.
THE CANDIDATE
You will have a wide experience of lighting products, and be up-to-date with modern and low energy lighting including LED's. You'll also have a familiar understanding of international lighting standards as the client exports internationally, especially to the USA. All candidates should have experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment where a continued flow of production is required. Working to fine tolerances is not usually required, although the finished goods do need good, attractive, and consistent appearance.
LOCATION & HOURS
The company offices and factory are in Eastbourne. It's formally a 40-hour week.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Basic salary will be up to GBP28,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
INTERVIEW PROCESS AND STARTING DATE:
The target start date is as soon as practically possible depending on notice periods. Before that will be an interview with a consultant at the RSE Group, before an interviews on company premises.
