Senior Building Estimator
A well established building contractor based around the Wiltshire / Hampshire border region is searching for an experienced Senior Building Estimator to join its award winning business.
This business operates across most of central and southern England undertaking small works to major construction projects consisting of refurbishment, new builds across the private and public sector with projects ranging from GBP50,000 to around GBP15 million.
There workload varies from 70% public sector (schools / universities) to Healthcare and Defence (MOD) refurbishments and JCT Tendering (SBC/IFC/D&B), this role will be reporting to their Pre-Construction Manager.
Duties:
- Preparing detailed tenders and estimates for review with Managing Director and the bid team.
- All estimate are built up using Evaluate estimating package, sending out subcontract enquiries
- Analysing quotations returned
- Bill preparation is done externally so part of your responsibility is to agree costs etc.
Package:
Salary up to GBP67,500 p.a.
GBP6500 Car Allowance
Pension (3.5% Employee/4.25% Employer)
