BS Social Care specialise in the permanent recruitment of Health & Social Care professionals. We are currently assisting one of the UK's most prestigious Learning Disability and Mental Health Care providers in their recruitment of an experienced Registered Manager.

You will join an ever growing, influential, and well respected organisation who provide residential, nursing, and supported living care packages for adults with mental health issues, learning disabilities, and additional care needs. You will work effectively, leading a qualified and committed team of staff to deliver care that promotes choice, independence and well being; delegating duties to ensure the smooth running of the service.

This is a large, modern, dual registered service providing Supported Living and Registered Services for individuals with complex support needs in Northumberland. This role is responsible for providing leadership and operational management in the delivery of all care, support, clinical, operational and administrative functions.

The service itself is registered for a maximum of 32 service users and is home to adults with learning disabilities, complex behaviours and varying abilities. In this post you will report to the Area Manager and will be accountable for the successful running of the service.

An excellent communicator, you will truly be passionate about making a difference to the lives of the people you support. You will lead by example, and your passion will inspire your staff team to go the extra mile.

To be successful in this role you will meet the following:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a Managerial role supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a similar setting

- NVQ Level 4 or above in Leadership & Management / Health & Social Care

- Excellent communicator with proven experience building, and maintaining relationships at all levels

- RMA award
