Security Officer / Security Guard

Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Wickham, Hants

Salary: £8 per hour

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (average 42 hours per week, Saturday to Sunday and Bank Holidays, working a 4 on, 4 off rolling shift pattern, days and nights)

Reporting to the Yard Manager and you will be responsible for ensuring Site Security.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls out of office hours
• Recording of staff absence records out of office hours
• Greet all visitors to the Site and complete medical questionnaire and induction of site facilities
• Inform appropriate staff of visitors to Site
• Inform appropriate staff of deliveries to Site
• Complete checking of delivery vehicles arriving and leaving Site and complete relevant paperwork
• Weigh incoming and outgoing bulk tankers
• Maintain records as appropriate

Key Requirements:

• Work part of a shift pattern covering days and nights working 4 on 4 off including bank holidays
• Team Player also able to work on own initiative
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Flexible
• Self-motivated
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Attention to detail
