MATERNITY COVER, FULL TIME – initial 9 months fixed term - HEAD OFFICE

As a result, the opportunity to join the operations team in head office as the Digital Media & Communications Officer has arisen.

THE ROLE As the Digital Media & Communications Officer, you are responsible for ensuring that stores and the business are represented in the best possible way on digital media channels whilst supporting the wider marketing and profile-raising opportunities for the business overall.

 You are also responsible for the delivery of effective communications and relevant strategies aiding to drive sales within the business. THE PERSON You will be highly organised with the ability to adapt to quick changing agendas and strategic need with a track record in identifying and maximising opportunities to deliver increased store and sales performance.

You will demonstrate event organisational skills as well significant project management abilities. Experience in working with all levels of digital marketing and platforms inclusive of web based software is essential. You will need to hold a clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle regularly.

You will have sole responsibility for this role and so must be able to work autonomously.


• To pro-actively contribute to the promotion of the business and implement marketing strategies

• To clearly and concisely communicate business and store specific initiatives to managers so that they remain well informed of business activity and of their required contribution to targets,

 • To target key areas and identify marketing opportunities, whilst working in line with the wider agenda

• To encourage managers to identify trends and make suggestions to improve and enhance performance,

• To encourage colleagues to seek and continuously develop knowledge of competitor activity and local market conditions, with the purpose of making appropriate and innovative recommendations to drive the business forward,

• Ensure that secure feedback, testimonials and case study material for future promotional activities are recorded,

 • To monitor against allocated store marketing budgets,

• To source, organise, attend and report back on O2 Open Events

• To own digital media campaigns, company website and project manage events
