Sales Executive

The company works closely with its customers to provide Building Compliance Services throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. Our head office team and bespoke management software allow us to professionally service building estates numbering into the thousands. We organise risk assessments, site specific health & safety requirements and access before assigning one of our qualified engineers. Our services encompass TM44 air conditioning inspections, Commercial Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Display Energy Certificates (DECs), Kitchen Extract Cleaning (TR19), Asbestos Management Surveys, Water Hygiene Services (Legionella) and ESOS surveys.

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and accomplished Sales Executive to create growth, gain new business and manage clients. We are looking to continue our development as major suppliers to the Facilities Management and Air Conditioning industries.

The focus of this role is to work closely with the Sales Team and Sales Director to ensure that an effective strategy is developed to deliver the necessary sales growth.

You will be expected to meet sales targets and objectives by building added-value relationships with key business contacts from Procurement to Stakeholder level.

As Sales Executive, you will report to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • win new national & regional account business
  • maximise the generation of profitable sales and achieve required sales/profit
  • manage the customer relationship
  • maximise sales by ensuring the highest possible levels of sales and service including individual customer attention and the negotiation of the best possible sales terms
  • work closely with Service and Assessment Teams to ensure that account delivery is in line with customer expectations

The Candidate:

  • thorough understanding of how to sell products and manage customers (preferably experience selling to the Air Conditioning and Facilities Management markets)
  • ability to plan and ensure that time is managed efficiently
  • strong influencing and financial skills
  • commercial awareness
  • proven history of overachieving sales targets in the B2B sector
  • strong commercial acumen and business ethics
  • good written & verbal communication skills
  • interpersonal skills and enthusiastic attitude
  • proven new business hunter
  • fluent presenter and communicator
  • IT literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • excellent negotiator
  • confident & articulate
