Joining our client as a Facilities Assistant, you will work within the Facilities Management team to provide comfortable and suitable offices and associated services for all Group staff, customers and visitors.

Ensuring that the Welcome Lobby is at the required standard at all times, you will carry out minor maintenance work to the office areas and report repairs required to the interior or exterior of the building; taking pride in the office environment by promoting high standards to colleagues and keeping all areas clean, tidy and professionally presented. 

Servicing and organising meeting rooms, you must inform the Facilities Team Leader of any potential hazards and safety breaches within the office accommodation and assist with Health & Safety audits, risk assessments and fire marshals in fire alarm drills and evacuations; acting as a qualified First Aider following appropriate training.

With a good understanding of Facilities Management/Property Management/Maintenance, you must be capable of safe lifting and handling techniques in order to transport materials and / or equipment and have a background in handyperson type jobs, minor maintenance. 

A clean driving licence is essential and you must be flexible in your working hours and be prepared to travel to the Group offices across the North West when required.
