Production Manager

Our Company

Photocentric is a rapidly growing, innovative company with a number of patented, market leading and award-winning products manufacturing in Cambridgeshire and with a subsidiary in Arizona, US. To aid our rapid expansion we are creating a new role that requires a talented Production Manager to implement the creation of a new production line of 3D printers and its ongoing optimisation. This role of Production Manager has no requirement to do shifts and is based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. It would suit a production manager from a manufacturing background who is technically minded, a good leader and a problem solver.

Reporting to the Production Director the key responsibilities will include:

• Create and install a new production line to manufacture innovative 3D printers.
• Create systems, SOPs and optimised work practices.
• Manage the workforce promoting an environment where teamwork, open communication and continuous improvement are encouraged.
• Achieve deadlines, maximise output and quality.

The Successful Applicant:

• Previous experience as a production manager ideally from a manufacturing background.
• Proven knowledge and experience of the application of continuous improvement systems, standards and tools and how to execute and monitor these through production teams
• Strong leadership skills
• Technically minded, practical hands on
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
