Painter/Packer/Driver
Irthlingborough, Northants

Our client is manufacturer of rotary compressors, vacuum pumps, and gas boosters. They are seeking a Painter / Packer / Driver to join their team.

Main Tasks of Job:

1. To paint spray various pumps and components to company and customers specifications and standards

2. To pack products and components for despatch on a daily basis, including the use of specialised packaging as required.

3. The collection of parts from suppliers and delivery of pumps to customers, via the use of company vehicles.

4. To assist with loading and unloading of vehicles for despatch or goods inwards, as required.

5. Undertake all mechanical and manual lifting in a safe manner including slinging, weight estimation and manual handling.

6. Allocate and store components to various areas within the factory (i.e. storage).

7. Ensure work area is cleaned and tidied on a routine basis, compliant with 5S principles.

8. Complete any documentation relevant to the department on a routine basis, as required.

9. Comply with all Health and Safety Regulations within the company. This includes Standard Operating Practices, Risk and COSHH Assessments.

Some driving will be involved, and a current FLT license would be of benefit.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as dictated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation. Any other reasonable tasks by mutual agreement.

This is a full-time opportunity, with basic hours of 39 per week over 5 days. Remuneration is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
