Introduction

As a Consultant Apprentice, your role will vary daily as you get involved in a full range of client issues and learn the skills needed to become a valued advisor to captains of British industry.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the delivery of client-facing plan management activities and project deliverables
  • Assisting in day-to-day retirement management services, including drafting trustee reports, newsletters and funding statements
  • Playing an active part in delivering client satisfaction, retention and profitability
  • Carrying out administrative tasks contributing to the retirement and investment consulting process
  • Inputting data accurately to maintain management information

Skills
  • Five A*-C grade GCSEs including English and Maths and at least 260 UCAS points for exams sat prior to 2017, and 104 UCAS points for exams to be sat post 2017, from three A-Levels or equivalent (excluding General Studies) i.e. BCC
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • True understanding of the value of customer service
  • Clear aptitude for teamwork, planning and organising
  • Keen desire to build on your basic understanding of the retirement business and progress quickly in your career
