Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience
Our client, a leading international multi-disciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Planner to work out of their Leeds offices. Working as part of their growing team the successful Environmental Planner will help their clients by providing environmental support for their major planning submissions, strategic environmental assessments and environmental impact assessments.
Suitable candidates for this role will:
* Have a relevant MSc (or equivalent) in a relevant environmental discipline
* Have demonstrable experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
* Have project management experience
* Have experience of working on Impact Assessments within consenting regimes
* Have excellent working knowledge of all stages of Impact Assessments, from land acquisition, options appraisals and planning submissions
Within the role the successful Environmental Planner will:
* Be delivering expert services for their clients by helping them manage their environmental planning risks
* Managing DCO submissions and Impact Assessments
* Coordinating project stakeholders to maximise environmentally responsible outcomes
* Liaising with senior staff, clients and stakeholders
