Sewell Wallis are currently working with a well known and reputable branded business based in Leeds to recruit a Finance Analyst. As Finance Analyst you will be responsible for 5 key groups within the business and will need to work closely with the UK sales team in order to meet key targets for the new financial year.
As the Finance Analyst you will be solely responsible for ensuring that financial performance and position is reported accurately and timely.
As Finance Analyst your responsibilities will include;
*Prepare, distribute and manage all Sales & Client Solutions Team related reports - Daily/Monthly Basis
*Provide detailed cost of serve analysis for customers across all companies/platforms
*Working with various data sources to consolidate into meaningful information, for trend analysis and decision making purposes for Sales Directors.
*Provide guidance in identifying the key issues and areas of improvement
*Working closely with the Sales Directors and Sales team supporting them on a daily basis
*Focus on preparation of the Monthly Performance Pack with any additional analysis required for the board meetings
*Assists with monthly Sales forecasts feeding information into the consolidated group forecasts
*Manage Sales Commissions for the Sales team including tracking of quarterly performance vs target
*Supporting the Finance Business Partners and the wider finance team
*Help develop group customer pricing strategy
The ideal candidate must have:
*Ability to work with and manipulate large data sources
*IT literate with a strong/advance working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint/Access
*SQL knowledge would be beneficial
*Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
