Resourcing Group Futures are recruiting for a Stalking Advocate on behalf of a National Charity specialising in supporting and advocating on behalf of victims of stalking and harassment.

They are looking for an experienced Advocate to join the newly formed London Stalking Threat Assessment Centre.

The London STAC will service as one of three centres of excellence in the response to stalking and will bring together partners including the Metropolitan Police, mental health services, probation, and the CPS. The LSTAC will focus on ensuring the voice of the victim, and their safety and wellbeing remains paramount.

As this role is part of a ground-breaking new project and the successful candidate will significantly contribute to the development of the STAC and will also play a key role in sharing the learning from this project with stakeholders throughout the UK and globally.

You will be responsible for providing specialist support to high-risk victims of stalking and will be providing a coordinated response to ensure management and mitigation of risk. You will be delivering robust risk assessments and safety planning for clients, along with advice and information regarding stalking legislation, the criminal process, and civil options.

You will be working constructively with multi-agency colleagues and will be working together to develop a new response to stalking.

You will receive specialist training and will have a key role in the development of the service.

Essential Requirements:

•Extensive experience (a minimum of four years of front line work) of working with people affected by gender-based violence, including risk assessment and safety planning
•Able to work in a multiagency setting and work in a stand alone capacity

•Experience of developing a new service
•Experience of working with people affected by stalking, including risk assessment and safety planning
