WR Fundraising Recruitment is proud to be working with an inspirational, regional charity in recruiting for a newly created Legacy and In-Memoriam Fundraising Manager
This is a truly exciting time for the charity with a new SMT, development / fundraising strategy and future plans to redevelop their facilities - therefore substantially increasing the services on offer.
As such, we're looking for an experienced fundraising professional to manage the legacy and in memory giving functions through hands on relationship building, legacy marketing and events, and the management of volunteers.
Legacy and In Memory giving exceeded expectation last year and we'd like to find an experienced fundraising professional to build on this success.
Legacy and In-Memoriam Fundraising Manager

Up to GBP35,000 on experience
Excellent range of benefits which include flexible and home working
Duties to include:
• Develop and roll-out a legacy marketing strategy and operational plan
• Responsible for the day to day management, stewardship and marketing of legacy and in memoriam fundraising
• Work in collaboration staff and volunteers across with the fundraising team, to implement legacy and in memory strategies
• Plan and deliver direct marketing campaigns to promote legacies and in - memory giving
• Deliver legacy promotion events, either stand-alone or as part of another event
• Work with marketing staff to ensure that legacies and in memory giving are promoted through our
• website, social media and supporter magazine where appropriate
• Plan, deliver and review an annual Make a Will campaign
• Plan, develop, deliver and review our In Memory offering/promotion
• Regularly run legacy gift events and confidently give presentations to supporter groups
• Meet directly with individuals who are interested in leaving a bequest
• Recruiting and managing a team of volunteers who will help promote legacies, especially during Make a Will Week and other key legacy promotional campaigns
Ideal candidates will have:
• Experience of legacy, in memory, or major gift marketing and fundraising
• Ability to develop meaningful and long-term relationships with our supporters
• Knowledge of Principles of relationship marketing and donor care and Legacy marketing techniques
• Experience of Working directly with solicitors
• Proven knowledge of the legal aspects relating to gifts in Wills and gift aid.
• Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal & external.
• Experience of working with and managing external fundraising agencies & suppliers
• Experience of charity events
