The Role

Working within the operations team you will help coordinate and run a team of lightning conductor fitters in the South East area. Responsible for the timely delivery of works to a high standard you will ensure costs are controlled and planned profit margins are maintained or improved through scheduling works, managing resource, labour and materials alongside assisting on people management issues. Assisting in providing technical support and guidance to clients you will be their first point of contact developing key relationships helping to generate repeat business. Promoting and maintaining high health and safety standards you will be confident in completing risk/method statements, auditing sites and closely monitoring site progress through site surveys and effective performance management of a field based team.

The Candidate:

To be successful you will adopt a 'hands on' approach with an ability to command respect from peers, work well under pressure and efficiently drive a team forwards. Commercially astute with contracts management experience, you will have a proven track record of client delivery with an ability to professionally communicate at all levels, ensuring operational excellence is achieved. Holding experience within the contracting, electrical or construction industry with electrical or lightning protection knowledge a distinct advantage. You will thrive on problem solving tasks and display excellent organisational skills. Frequent travel and the ability to adopt a flexible working pattern to respond and meet operational requirements will be required to fulfil this role.
