Associate Actuarial Consultant
Bristol
Due to a phase of growth in the Bristol office, the Retirement team is looking for a part-qualified Actuarial Associate with at least 2 years' experience.
This business provides a unique opportunity for part qualified students to rotate across teams including retirement and investment, DC, risk settlement, delegated consulting and longevity modelling, delegated consulting.
My client is a provider of both reinsurance and consultancy solutions whose Retirement practice is seeking to appoint a part-qualified Actuarial Associate Consultant in Bristol.
The successful incumbent will have the unique opportunity to rotate across a variety of areas in the business including retirement and investment, DC, risk settlement, delegated consulting and longevity modelling and delegated consulting.
Your work will entail both Trustee and corporate work and your responsibilities will include attending client meetings, integrated risk management, risk modelling, risk settlement projects, undertaking and checking complex technical calculations and supporting the development of more junior students.
You will be making good progress through the FIA/FFA examinations and have at least 2 years' relevant pensions actuarial experience gained in consultancy.
You will have an inquiring mind and sound technical capability.
