£35,875 depending on experience (pro rata)

We’re currently looking for an experienced Procurement professional to implement the procurement strategy across our group.
You’ll be expected to be the subject matter expert for procurement across a variety of purchasing categories and will support the business in its procurement activity. This will include being responsible for the delivery of procurement projects, ensuring OJEU and UK Public Sector procurement rules compliance.
Maintenance of the contracts register will be key to the successful implementation of the procurement strategy and you will ensure it is up to date for your categories. You’ll also provide training and advice across the business on all aspects of Public Sector procurement and will provide reports and analysis to the business.
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and will preferably possess a CIPS qualification. You must be experienced in public sector procurement, category management practice and procurement legislation.
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a desire to coach and be a role model to other team members. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is essential.
