They now have some exciting opportunities for Airside Services Operatives - Cleaning and Security, working days, to join them at Stansted Airport (STN), working days, to provide a variety of professional cleaning services to ensure aircrafts are well presented on both the interior and exterior.

In the role you will perform a range of interior and exterior cleaning as required to include cleaning lavatories; wash basins, surfaces, mirrors and replenish lavatory supplies, replenishing seat pockets with airline materials, removal of blankets, vacuuming aircraft carpets, wipe down tables, walls, overhead bins, windows and remove trash from seat pockets, arranging seatbelts on seats, placement of headrests, pillows and blankets and security cleans/checks -  cleaning exterior areas of the aircraft as required.

Driving and operating ground support equipment (vans, aircraft steps, hi-lift vehicles etc.), and reporting any health and safety matters that give you concern to your duty manager, you will ensure the correct use of chlorination powder / elsil when filling potable water, use of degerm powders/fluid (blues) when using toilet bowsers, carry out weekly sterilization and be aware of the toilet dumping and filing (inc frost) procedures relevant to all aircraft in your airport.

Physically fit in order to work in a manual environment and with a full driving licence and excellent communication skills, you will thrive on working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible to work various shifts and able to speak and understand the English language, the successful candidate will be someone who can follow processes and procedures, is able to travel to the airport at times when public transport isn’t available and willing to work in inclement weather.  

Previous experience working in an aviation environment would be an advantage, as would the ability to speak additional languages and experience in a similar role.
