Fixed Wire Testing Electrician – Mainly covering the South of England and London – Salary package: £35000 to £43000+ - Full Time
The Company:
Established for 22 years, our client considers themselves to be the standard bearer when it comes to electrical inspection and testing.
They are specialists in compiling EICRs, Emergency lighting and Thermography reports throughout a wide range of Commercial, Educational, Health care and Industrial sites.
Utilising their dedicated and experienced bank of Fixed Wire engineers, they are able to offer bespoke and flexible solutions to their client’s needs when it comes to isolation, verification & testing of their electrical installations.
The role:
Must have the following:
- C&G 2391 (or equivalent)
- Minimum City & Guilds Level 2 in Electrical installations
- Flexible to working 40 hours per week to suit their client’s needs
- A Full current driving licence
- Thorough working knowledge of BS 7671
- C&G 2382 17th Edition
Desirable:
- Experience of Amtech Fast-test software
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical installations
- Experience in similar, dedicated testing role
- Experience of carrying out remedial works
- IPAF
They are ideally looking for an experienced Test & inspection engineer who is already capable of producing a high standard of Electrical report to pre-arranged deadlines.
The candidate will be an experienced electrician with a good working knowledge of BS7671 and the ability to complete electrical reports (EICRs/EML) with the minimum of supervision.
You will need a keen eye for detail and have an excellent client facing personality. A flexible approach to work is essential and some travelling will be required.
