Catering Manager

Contract: 37 hours per week, 44 weeks per year

Salary: SO1 £25,951 to £27,668

Required for July 2018, this large secondary Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated professional to manage our large on site catering function.  In addition to the daily delivery of top quality meals to our 1400 students and staff, the Academy also supplies five local primary schools.   Managing an efficient and well established team, this is a fantastic opportunity to make an immediate impact.  The role is varied and diverse and includes food preparation, menu planning including the promotion of healthy eating, purchasing and stock control.

To succeed, you will need to be a fully qualified cook with proven experience of catering management.   Above all you will demonstrate the ability to prioritise an extremely busy schedule and to deal effectively with students and staff.  An excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety management is essential, as is team management or supervision experience.
