Children's Home Manager

We are currently seeking the PERFECT candidate to run a home based in the Leicestershire area.

This is a home for children who predominantly have autism or challenging behaviour, so experience within this sector is essential.

You will run the home and make sure everything is up to fantastic standards on a day to day basis!

You will have a brilliant team on hand including a deputy and seniors to help support you with everything from providing the children with a safe and happy home to liaising with children's families or social workers on a weekly basis.

The home manger role includes typical jobs such as rotas, recruiting your care team, leading meetings, disciplinaries and dismissals of staff.

You must be great at building relationships with staff and residents to make sure you have full control of the home and know exactly what is going on. You must also be able to adapt to unexpected situations and manage things as professional as possible with a calm approach.

Ideally we are looking for an experienced manager with their level 5, however we understand that qualifications aren't everything and we will consider someone with their Level 3 within social care or children and young people.

As this role does include meetings out of the home and also taking children on school runs and other appointments, you MUST be a driver.

This is a Monday to Friday role but will include weekends at some point when you are expected to step up as a manager for unexpected situations.

Depending on experience this is a starting salary of: 27,000 - 34,000
