Business Development Officer

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our Business Development team.  The successful applicant will be responsible for engaging with employers in our region to achieve specific sales targets. Applicants need to be able to do cold calling and telesales as well as being able to develop sound long term relationships with clients.

The role involves working with a broad range of employers for apprenticeships, project funding, full cost training and work experience; carrying out training needs analysis with businesses and helping them recruit new apprentices and develop existing staff.

Applicants should be qualified to level 3 or above in a business related subject area or equivalent along with previous experience of working within a business development role and ideally with a training/education background.
